A shared journey toward a more inclusive future

Being a Social Cooperative means putting people at the center, creating opportunities, and strengthening the social fabric of the territory. Our story is the result of a shared path between two organizations with extensive experience in inclusion and building more welcoming communities: Cooperativa Contatto and Cooperativa La Bonne Semence.
For over twenty years, we have worked toward a common goal: providing care, housing, and work to people in vulnerable situations through concrete and innovative solutions.

  • Cooperativa Contatto has developed a work inclusion model, creating employment opportunities in sectors such as electromechanics, gardening, and cleaning.
  • Cooperativa La Bonne Semence has built a path dedicated to mental health, offering support and guidance toward autonomy through therapeutic communities and projects of light residential care and social housing.

Joining forces for greater impact

In 2023, the two cooperatives decided to merge in order to create a stronger and more integrated organization. This fusion is not just an organizational change but an essential step to expand our social impact and respond more effectively to the needs of people.

For us, being a Social Cooperative means:

Offering real opportunities to people living in vulnerable situations

Nurturing the connection with the territory by enhancing collaborative networks

Promoting generative welfare that creates value for the entire community

A Cooperative: A Choice for Fairness

We chose the cooperative model because it is a type of business with a mutual purpose, founded by a group of people where everyone has an equal say in decisions: one member = one vote.

Any profit generated is not distributed among members but is reinvested in social initiatives and the services the cooperative provides in the community.
