The origins of La Bonne Semence

1996
La Bonne Semence was founded with the aim of providing residential care and support for psychotic patients, mostly young people.

The origins of Contatto

1997
The Social Cooperative Al del Mans was established to promote employment opportunities through agricultural and social activities.
2002
The therapeutic community La Bonne Semence obtained accreditation from the Lombardy Region.
2008
Following a split from Al del Mans, the Social Cooperative Contatto was born, focusing on employment in mechanical assembly, cleaning, gardening, and digitalization sectors.
since 2008
The first Light Residential projects were launched to offer housing solutions for people with vulnerabilities, especially to support their transition out of community care.
2011
La Bonne Semence 2 opened, the first facility in Lombardy dedicated to patients coming from forensic psychiatric hospitals or under judicial protection measures.
2015
Opening of Raviolificio Con Cuore, a social economy project combining production and work inclusion.
2016
The cooperative expanded its headquarters to accommodate new activities and services.
2016
Renovation of the former Bergamo asylum shop, transformed into a place of gathering and inclusion.
2018
Together with the cooperatives La Bonne Semence and Progettazione, Gruppo IN – Innovare per Includere – is established, with ALP Life joining the following year.
2018
Together with the cooperatives Contatto and Progettazione, Gruppo IN – Innovare per Includere – is established, with ALP Life joining the following year.
2019
Opening of Centro RamO, a meeting and support center for people with vulnerabilities.
2019
The Trust "La Vita di Samantha" was established, the first implementation of Law 112/2016 in the Bergamo area, launching projects to support families in the “Dopo Di Noi” phase.
2020
Launch of the ContattoTech brand, specialized in electromechanical assembly.
2020
Opening of Ad Majora Café and protected apartments in central Bergamo.
2021
Opening of the Lepreno headquarters to expand the cooperative's services and coverage.
2022
Adhesion to the Impact Register, born from the partnership between Confcooperative and Confindustria Bergamo.
2022
Start of the PNRR and the "Abitare In Valle" project with the Ambito of Valle Brembana for new forms of social housing.

The Merger: a stronger and more inclusive cooperative

This merger represents much more than a formal step: it is the integration of two complementary paths, aimed at creating an integrated intervention model that puts the person at the center and offers care, housing, and work as tools for autonomy and social inclusion. Today, we are a stronger and more innovative organization, ready to respond more effectively to people's needs.
